The
NEC DXE series of digital business telephone systems
offers more than just voice communication.It provides
the platform for multimedia communication servers
integrating voice, PC, LAN, fax and voicemail
communications onto a common ISDN platform. The
NEC DXE is fully ISDN compatible. It provides
the necessary tools for users to take advantage
of the latest ISDN technology available. Features
of ISDN such as Direct Dial Inwards (DDI), Call
Line Identification (CLI), trunk to trunk transfer
are among some of the benefits that the NEC DXE
can bring to your organisation.The NEC DXE presents
more features than any other system of its kind.In
addition to pre-programmed feature buttons each
telephone handset has ten one-touch feature keys
that can be personalised to suit each user. Each
soft-key can be programmed with a user-friendly
feature from the extensive list available on the
DXE. Some of these features include conference
call, voicemail on and off, call forward and call
back. Each of the soft keys can also be programmed
with personal speed dials specific to each user.
Direct
Dial Inwards
DDI provides each user on the DXE with a personal
number on which callers can reach them directly
and bypass the switchboard.
Call Line Identification
CLI presents the name or number of the incoming
caller on the LCD display.
Trunk to Trunk Transfer
With ISDN calls can be transferred to an outside
mobile or landline number
Conference Call
The DXE can hold a conference call between up
to eight parties. The call can made up of a mixture
of either internal or external callers to the
telephone system.
Voicemail On and Off
One-touch voicemail keys allows a user to turn
voicemail on or off at the touch of a button.
Call Forward
With the call forward soft-key all calls to an
extension can be forwarded to another phone at
the touch of a button.
Call Back
By activating the call back option on a phone
a busy extension is accessed once it becomes free.
Personal Speed Dials
The most commonly dialled numbers specific to
each user can be programmed onto one touch soft
keys for speed dial purposes.
